Thank you God, for Spring, the Birds and "New Life". Mine began 35 years ago, on 28 March 1986 in Al-Anon, hence my love for Butterflies. Thank God, for all of the 12 Step programs that reached those of us too messed up to get it. God works through people. My gratitude, my serenity and peace came through the rooms of Al-Anon and AA, through many loving people in and out of those rooms. Freely, with no strings, no obligation, and they loved me until I could love myself. They asked only that I "keep coming back", "keep an open mind", and be "willing to do whatever I had to, to stay sober. My favorite song is, "Just as I am, Lord".
