God bless you for sharing. My recovery and New Life began on 1 Jan. 1987 in AA. three years later I went back to church and rededicated my life to Jesus in 1990. This song touched my heart. I learned through wonderful people in recovery, that God does love me too, and I don't have to be perfect to be loved by God/Jesus! Thirty five years later God has never let me down through death, divorce, and hurricanes.
